The Washington Spirit are close to selling out Saturday’s match against the Orlando Pride, which will be played at Audi Field.

About 15,000 tickets were sold as of Wednesday afternoon for the 7:30 p.m. ET National Women’s Soccer League game. Audi Field is home to Major League Soccer’s D.C. United and has a capacity of 20,000.

“We are trending toward 16,500-17,000, more if it keeps up at this pace!” Spirit spokeswoman Gretchen Hamm told Pro Soccer USA of ticket sales so far.

The Spirit normally play games at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds. The venue is roughly an hour drive from Washington, D.C., and has a capacity of 5,500.

Saturday will be the Spirit’s second game at Audi Field, which opened last summer, and they will play there again Sept. 14 against Reign FC. Last year, the Spirit drew an announced crowd of 7,976 to the nation’s capital for their inaugural game at the stadium. That was a record crowd for the Spirit at the time.
