The Philadelphia Union went down two men in the 19th minute of their Saturday night match against Atlanta United.
Shortly after referee Sorin Stoica awarded Atlanta a penalty kick, Haris Medunjanin and Alejandro Bedoya got in an altercation with him. Bedoya received a yellow card first, his second of the night, to get ejected. That move set off Medunjanin, who continued to argue with Stoica until he received two consecutive yellow cards for dissent. Atlanta went on to win 3-1.
