Watch: Cristian Penilla scores twice in first 7 minutes of Revs’ match against Toronto

The New England Revolution (4-3-2, 14 points) took a 2-0 lead within 7 minutes of kickoff Saturday afternoon against Toronto FC (2-5-1, 7 points).

Cristian Penilla scored both goals at Gillette Stadium, the first off a counter in the 4th minute. Three minutes later, Toronto slipped up with a poor backpass to goalkeeper Alex Bono, who was caught near the top of the penalty box and tried to scramble back when Penilla intercepted the pass and fired the ball into the net.
