Toronto’s task was far from easy. To go down to Guadalajara and defeat the home team at least 2-1 was near impossible, some said. But Toronto did it, before falling 4-3 in penalties Wednesday and watching Chivas lift the Concacaf Champions League trophy as the Mexican side earned a bid to the FIFA Club World Cup.
