The Philadelphia Union have brought back center back Aurelien Collin for the 2020 season on a one-year deal.
The 10-year Major League Soccer veteran played in six MLS contests for the Eastern Conference side in 2019. He is expected to be a veteran depth option once again in 2020.
“We are pleased to welcome Aurelien back to our roster for the 2020 season,” Union sporting director Ernst Tanner said. “Aurelien is a proven winner with a strong work ethic that is matched by his heart and passion. We look forward to his continued contributions to our defense and leadership on and off the field.”
Collin is the seventh defender locked into a roster spot for 2020, and the third center back behind expected starting pair Jack Elliott and Mark McKenzie.
