Orlando City midfielder/centerback Carlos Ascues, who was acquired late in the secondary transfer window in a deal that almost completely fell through, is the ninth-highest paid player on the Lions’ roster.

The Major League Soccer Players Association on Tuesday released an updated version of its league-wide salary figures. The figures for Orlando City now include the salaries for Ascues and centerback Shane O’Neill, who was also acquired during the secondary transfer window.

Ascues will make $391,500.00 in total compensation this season while O’Neill will make $79,499.92 in total compensation.

Both signings have paid dividends for Orlando City. Ascues has started every match he’s been available for since he arrived in Orlando (nine matches total). O’Neill has started in 12 of 15 matches since he was eligible to play in July.

The salary guide looks at a player’s base salary as well as total compensation, which includes “all signing and guaranteed bonuses annualized over the term of the player’s contract, including option years.”

Here’s a full list of MLS salaries in a sortable, searchable table.
