Orlando City vs. Real Salt Lake, 5

Where: Orlando City Stadium

Watch: WRDQ-27 (Local), YouTube TV (local live stream)

THE BUZZ: Orlando City (5-2-1, 16 points) is going for its sixth-straight league victory, and will have to get past coach Jason Kreis’ former club to get it. … The Lions have scored multiple goals in each of their last five matches and are fourth in the Eastern Conference with 16 goals scored. … Striker Dom Dwyer leads the club with five goals, and rookie forward Chris Mueller isn’t far behind with three. … Captain and center back Jonathan Spector is still out with a concussion, as is right back Scott Sutter (knee). … Club officials confirmed Amro Tarek, who already had a broken nose, is out with a lower body injury. Tarek will be evaluated. … Ecuadorian forward Joao Plata leads RSL (3-4-1, 10 points) with three goals in five matches. … Real Salt Lake has 10 players listed in its latest injury report.

Players to watch

Chris Mueller: Before missing out on scoring a goal against the Colorado Rapids, Mueller had three goals in three games. Two of those games were at home. Even when he’s not scoring, he’s active in the attack.

Chris Schuler: As last-minute addition to Orlando City’s roster after he was a trialist all preseason, Chris Schuler will finally see match minutes for the Lions. And he’s being thrust into the starting XI in a role Amro Tarek filled well.”

Sacha Kljestan: The No. 10 said attacking Real Salt Lake’s back line early will be a key to victory. Who better to test RSL early on than Kljestan? He’s been sharp in the final third lately.

Bold predictions

  • Justin Meram gets his first goal today
  • Orlando City scores first, but the match will be tied at halftime
  • Yoshi Yotún will have another assist
