ORLANDO, Fla. — To cap its neon theme, Orlando City announced that the Blue Man Group will provide halftime entertainment for Wednesday night’s match against Sporting Kansas City.
The Blue Man Group, which has performed since 1987, combines the music of a drumline with black light paint and special effects. The performance comes in accordance with the team’s first-ever Neon Night, for which the team will debut its Origin Kit for the first time at home at Exploria Stadium. The white kit is typically only worn for away games, and on Wednesday it will feature a limited edition glow-in-the-dark patch based off of the fan messages that cover the players’ tunnel.
In accordance with the theme, the white kit with the new-look patch is now available for sale on the Orlando City website. The club is offering a 30% tdiscount on the jersey as part of the promotion.
