On Frame: Thoughts from Dome Torrent, James Sands after NYCFC season opener

NEW YORK — “On Frame” is hosted by Pro Soccer USA’s Glenn Crooks, who takes an inside look at New York City FC and soccer in the five boroughs, plus other domestic and international stories. There will be a new show each week including interviews with New York FC players, coaches and journalists from across the country.

On this week’s episode, postgame thoughts from Dome Torrent and James Sands following New York City FC’s 2-2 draw at Orlando City. Also, commentator Paul Shaw shares his thoughts on the game plus some other key moments from the weekend in MLS. And Pro Soccer USA’s Emily Olsen helps to preview NYCFC’s home opener Sunday against DC United.

“I definitely watched him on TV when I was little, so it was kind of a surreal feeling actually being able to defend him,” Sands said of playing against Orlando City’s Nani. “You get a sense how good he was when he did play for Man U. Obviously he still has a lot of that quality left.”
