BOSTON, Mass. — New England Revolution II can officially field a starting XI.
The club made its eleventh addition Monday afternoon by signing goalkeeper Keegan Meyer, who the New England Revolution drafted 43rd overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
Meyer, a four-year starter at High Point University, is the first goalkeeper signing in the history of Revolution II, which kicks off its inaugural season in USL League One against Orlando City B at Gillette Stadium March 28.
The 22-year-0ld stands 6-foot-3 and earned 27 clean sheets in 74 appearances during his collegiate career. In his final collegiate season, he posed seven shutouts, 75 saves and a .743 save percentage.
Meyer earned three consecutive All-Big South First team honors and two United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections.
