The LA Galaxy unveiled their Night Navy kit and introduced members of their 2019 roster to season ticket holders Sunday night at The Novo at L.A. Live.  Fans also had the opportunity to hear interviews featuring new General Manager Dennis te Kloese and head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto as well as star forward Zlatan Ibrahimović.

The new kit is “features a vertical stripe design digital glitch inspiration for a modern interpretation,” according to the team’s press release. It will also feature all five stars above the team’s crest, one for each of the club’s MLS Cup wins. Previously, the LA Galaxy sported jerseys with one lone gold star to signify five MLS Cup titles.

Ibrahimović was interviewed by Fox Sports analyst Rob Stone, who hosted the event. Fans were vocal in their support of “the Lion” during his interview.

“This season I will bring something for you,” Ibrahimović told the fans. “Because they say I am old, I’m looking to break every record in MLS this season.”

The Galaxy will play one more preseason match ahead of their 2019 MLS regular season home opener at 8 p.m. EST on March 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.
