FC Dallas released its protected list for the 2018 Major League Soccer Expansion Draft Monday, which will take place on Tuesday as FC Cincinnati works to fill its roster for 2019.

Notable unprotected players are defenders Reto Ziegler and Marquinhos Pedroso. Both were acquired in 2018, with Ziegler coming to the squad in the offseason and Pedroso joining midseason.

Ziegler made 29 starts for the team and was a part of a strong partnership with centerback Matt Hedges. Ziegler is making $800,000, according to the MLSPA.

Pedroso made 13 starts after being brought in to replace former leftback Anton Nedyalkov. Pedroso had surgery after the season ended for a core injury and is currently recovering from it. He made $330,000 this past season.
