Inter Miami’s Julian Carranza expected to miss 10-12 weeks

The 19-year-old forward is expected to miss 10-12 weeks with a foot injury.

Inter Miami will have to wait a few months to receive production from one of its forwards.

Sporting director Paul McDonough revealed during a training session Monday that Julian Carranza is out 10-12 weeks with a foot injury.

Carranza was one of the first players added to the Inter Miami roster in July. He was loaned back to Banfield in Argentina before the expansion side began preseason training in January.

Juan Agudelo, Jerome Kiesewetter and Robbie Robinson are the other forwards listed on the Inter Miami roster ahead of the club’s inaugural match against Los Angeles FC on March 1.
