Atlanta United announced Saturday morning the players it will protect in the upcoming Major League Soccer expansion draft.
The MLS expansion draft will take place Tuesday at 5 p.m. ET. Inter Miami and Nashville SC each will make five selections. Both teams can take a maximum of one player from 19 MLS franchises that took the field in 2019.
D.C. United, the Vancouver Whitecaps, FC Dallas, the Houston Dynamo and the New York Red Bulls are exempt from the process because these teams lost players to FC Cincinnati in last year’s expansion draft.
The following unprotected Atlanta United players will be in the pool available to be selected by Inter Miami and Nashville SC during the 5:30 p.m. ET draft Tuesday. See more draft details and a full list of MLS players eligible for the draft here.
